PMASynRM Motor
Permanent Magnet Assisted Synchronous Reluctance Motor
Energica's proprietary motor combines the efficiency of a permanent magnet design with the reliability of a reluctance motor. Maximum torque from a standstill — no heat throttling, no brushes, no compromise. Peak efficiency exceeds 96%, meaning almost all stored energy reaches the rear wheel.

21.5 / 22.5 kWh lithium polymer — custom-built for Energica platforms
Custom lithium polymer cells arranged in a structural aluminium pack. Each of the 84 cells is individually monitored by the BMS — optimising charge rate, thermal management, and longevity simultaneously. The pack doubles as a stressed chassis member, reducing weight elsewhere.

Because an electric motor delivers full torque from the first revolution, Energica's Ride By Wire system maintains perfectly linear throttle mapping — what you ask for is exactly what you get, at any speed.
