The 2022 edition of Eicma, Milan’s international motorcycle exhibition, witnessed the return of the world leading electric motorcycle manufacturer Energica.
The Modena-based company was present at the show with its full line up of high-performing, premium bikes for a busy six-day event that saw the Energica stand fully crowded at all times by motorcycle enthusiasts, insiders and even competitors, who marvelled at the engineering solutions and state-of-the-art technology present on each motorcycle.
There was plenty of anticipation for the show, which scored a +38% in terms of attendance (82% of tickets were sold beforehand via official channels) with 38,747 industry professionals (+35% over 2021 and 51% coming from abroad) and more than 6900 accredited professionals from the media side of things.
Several novelties were presented at the show, from the new colour schemes of the Energica Ego and Experia models to the technical updates that improve the range by 5% and increase the torque by 7Nm, which translates in an added 35Nm of wheel power.
The new 2023 range was present in its entirety, with the Ego+, EsseEsse9+, Eva Ribelle and the latest arrival Experia sporting two new colours – White Flame and Metal Black. New liveries aside, the Green Tourer by Energica was in display with new equipment – Sport Pack, City Pack, Touring Pack – and the brand-new Experia Police – with the latter being the result of an ongoing rise in demand from police forces, who are eager to go green with their new fleets (an Experia Police was present at the Indonesian G20 in Bali along with 88 customised EsseEsse9 motorcycles for the event’s escort service).
Energica was not keen in keeping things too “static”, however, as thanks to the company’s dealer in the city – GPone Milano – several test rides were organised from Tuesday 9th to Saturday 13th of November.
The Energica stand also featured two corners dedicated to Energica Inside, the Business Unit dedicated to supporting Ideanomics companies and other verticals in the transition to electric mobility, and Energica Garage, where the Company partners logos and items were in full display along with a track-ready Ego Sport Black motorcycle – on which basic maintenance routine operations were carried out by the Energica staff.
Energica wishes to thank everyone involved in this successful event: from the staff to the fans, the motorcycle enthusiasts, 2022 MotoE riders who paid a visit and the Energica Partners who gave their invaluable support.
