The French GP of the 2018 MotoGP™ World Championship is right around the corner and so is the fifth demo lap of the year for the Energica Ego Corsa.
The all-electric racebike will be ridden at Le Mans by Randy de Puniet. The 37-year-old French rider has two decades of experience on the international motorcycle racing scene across different series: mainly MotoGP (from 1998 to 2014 in the 125cc, 250cc and MotoGP classes), but also WorldSBK and the FIM Endurance World Championship – where he is currently competing.
“I am happy that I was chosen to take part in the demo lap and to be doing so in front of my fellow French fans: hopefully the weather will be kind to us, although in Le Mans it has hardly ever been so!” says Randy de Puniet.
Save the date!
The demo lap of the French GP will get underway this Sunday, May 20th, at 13:20 local time (GMT +2).
